X1 Voice for restaurants in Nashville

Peak call times

Call volume here isn't lunch-driven. It peaks late, Thursday through Saturday between 10pm and 1am, on the back of the Broadway honky-tonk and bachelorette and bachelor-party crowd hunting for late food. The pattern holds nearly year-round instead of following a normal dinner-rush curve.

Local labor market

Tennessee has no state minimum wage law, so the federal $7.25 floor applies. Wages aren't the real squeeze, though. A decade of tourism growth around Broadway has pushed restaurant staffing demand well past what the local labor supply can cover, and late-night shifts are the hardest to fill.
