What X1 Voice does, in detail

Every capability below is live in the product today, not a roadmap item.

What makes us different

Most voice tools do one thing. This does the whole job.

It doesn't just answer, it finishes the order

X1 Voice takes the full order with modifiers, collects payment, fires a clean ticket to your POS, and texts the customer as the status changes, confirmed, in the kitchen, ready. One agent, the whole call.

Always on, even after close

Unlimited simultaneous calls, no hold music, no voicemail. The 11pm caller gets the same answer as the noon one.

Priced in the open

$250/mo with 750 minutes, no setup fee, no contract. Every plan has the same features, only the minutes and per-minute overage change. Most of the field won't quote a number without a sales call.

A closer look at how it actually works

Modifiers and substitutions, handled correctly

Callers order the way they talk: 'half cheese half pepperoni,' 'no onions,' 'swap the fries for a side salad.' X1 Voice parses those requests against your actual menu structure, confirms anything ambiguous back to the caller before it's finalized, and reads the full order back at the end so nothing gets submitted wrong.

What 'syncs to your POS' means concretely

There's no manual re-entry step. Once a call ends, the order appears in your POS (Square and OrderCounter directly, or Clover and others via Deliverect) within seconds, itemized the same way a ticket entered by staff would be. Your kitchen sees it exactly where it expects to.

Payment collection without a human touching a card

On plans that include it, X1 Voice can collect payment on phone orders directly during the call, so a card number never passes through a staff member or gets written on a sticky note by the register.

After-hours is treated like peak hours

Calls that come in after close, before open, or during a rush that would otherwise hit voicemail get the same order-taking flow as a call at 7pm on a Friday. The hours and routing rules you set govern what happens, not whether anyone's near the phone.

1 in 4 restaurant phone calls goes unanswered during peak hours

Each missed call is usually a lost order. That's $25 to $50 in ticket value going to whoever does pick up.
